Miller or SSC foot control?

I wanted to get a new pedal and I am not sure between the miller or SSC foot control. I currently have a RFC-14 Foot control and its huge, old and not as smooth as it should be. Plus sometimes having to use the pedal between my knees make it more awkward than it should be. Anyone have an opinion on which to get? The SSC is obviously cheaper so that is swaying my decision....SSC Foot ContolrMiller RFCS-14Miller RFCS HD-14
Reply:The Miller is plastic unless you get the heavy duty one.I've got the SSC, and only have good things to say about it.  Very smooth.  Never used it between my knees (I use a fingertip control for out of position work), but I would think it would be comfortable for that.
Reply:I have the SSC for my Dynasty 200dx. I had an old Miller Dialarc that had a miller pedal.The SSC pedal is nice and smooth, but the Miller pedal was a beast. Mind you, that Miller pedal was made in 1979, sounds like their new pedals are not as beefy. If thr HD pedal is beefy like my old dialarc pedal was, I'd rather have that. But the SSC is certainly solid enough.
Reply:Thanks for the replys...I think i may go with the SCC because of price and as long as it will last. I want to make a holder on my welding cart for portability and the monster i have, its not possible...It seems like a nice light weight and steardy unit from pictures, but wasnt sure...
