I finally got one, SA 200 F 163, everything is there but the alternator, Generator. Code is6340-A and serial is A606022. It turns over and pops on starter fluid, has compression but no alternator or generator. I think this machine is a 1968 and has the red face and also stamped red seal on manifold. Can anyone confirm date/age and wether it needs a generator w/ positive ground or alternator / neg. ground? Can and alternator be used in either case ? Ready, paid $400.00 for it. Sheet metal light rust but straight and in good appearance, Only good deal if it will weld though. also missing the lead studs. Machine did not have a rain cap on exhaust and I don't know the history or where it was stored, any advice to check it out before I run it? Can I jump it and run without the generator/ altenator or will it damage anything. Do I ground - or + ??"Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum"Lincoln Idealarc 250 AC/DCMillermatic 251 Syncrowave 300 30A spoolgunLincoln MP210Hypertherm 45(2) LN 25(2) Lincoln Weldanpower 225 CV(4) SA200 1 short hood SA250 SAM 400 |
