Relax! y,all. the hitch is for a lawn mower and won't see much weight or stress. It was fun to build and I hope it will hold up better than the cheesy angle iron piece the dealer wanted to sell me. The local scrap dealer had the right size tube for a 2" receiver. Sorry about the poor pics. I wish I'd taken some photos before I painted it. I'd love to know what y'all think. Attached Images
Reply:Another hitch pic, It is on a Husqvarna zero turn Attached Images
Reply:another one I will use the hitch to pull a "chip-n-Vac" Attached Images
Reply:Last one, I didn't weld to the mower frame. It is bolted in 6 places Attached Images
Reply:Good Job! I'm sure your welding is just as good if not better then someone getting their $10 per hour and kicking out a hundred of them a day. Looks good to me!
Reply:Looks WAY overkill. Which is to say, PERFECT!
Reply:Thanks Guys, I used it yesterday and it seemed plenty strong. Just gotta remember not to do any "zero' turn with the trailer. |
