Since She Who Dreams of Being Obeyed a/k/a Lawn Nazi is getting a bit long in the tooth and the arthritys in her hands is kicking up, I observed she was having some degree of dificulty working her little garden tools.  I was also getting real tired of pounding those pieces of **** tin back into the shape of a garden trowl and weed digger.Since I'm such a warm generous guy, I plasma cut the rough shapes from a car spring, welded the shanks on, and forged her a new set.Lawn Nazi was so appreciative of my work, she took me out for dinner, and let me pay for it.  She then took me to the plant sale the following day, and let me play bellhop as she selected a hundred or so new flowers "we" desperately needed. Reply:At my house the Lawn Nazi is "Sherlock of the Gestapo".You can't get nothing by her. Just got back from buying several of those pallets of assorted flowers and Mater plants. Had to crank up the 2155 with backhoe to plant. After I got all the flowers and Maters planted I got to dig up 10 red tip bushes that she had previously murdered with the hedge trimmers. She was having a problem with her Stihl BG 85 leaf blower so I had to take that thing apart and see what was wrong with it. If she can't crank em up she threatens to throw them in the lake. Also had to re-paint lawn chairs(had to weld a loose part of frame so it was not a total loss). She then gave me instructions for use of the Roundup and how not to spray the newly planted flowers. Awhile back she HAD to have an edger($275) ,then she didn't like it because "that thing is dangerous". Hell I gave her safety glasses. I'm having a hard time getting her to use her riding lawnmower, because the battery is weak.  I have instructed her numerous times on how to jump it off with the battery charger ,but she can't seem to get the hang of it. She wanted a new push mower but the last one I let her use, she ran over a piece of pipe in the yard with it and bent the blade shaft. Today she asked if I was going to get  any money in because she needed some to pay bills. I said, "didn't you just go shopping yesterday,how much money did you spend" answer $300.00. Well you would have had that to pay bills with plus that $50.00 that it cost me to take you out to eat tonight. She turned and went to bed> AND Arc wants one of these things around???????? I just dunno, if I didn't already have one of these,  I believe I could live without, DavidDavid

Reply:LOL my mom was into horses.  she had one that was 15000.00 and yes the decimal is in the right place.   Now consider this was back when a NICE truck was only 21k or so.  I never quit got into it couldnt see the need.  Had no cows or fence lines that needed a nag to care for.Mike 93 YJwww.moabjeeper.com

Reply:Been with "She who must be obeyed" 37 years last month. After a few years, I gave up all hope. Life has been easier since than. I have the "Magic garage" to keep my sanity.I know who rates in my house. I came home a while back. "She who must be obeyed". Was cooking a piece of steak. I said honey that looks good. She told me "Thats for "Dogzilla", you have "Chili dogs".
Reply:Been with my other- half just over 20 years. She is my second wife I am her 3rd husband. She was single just over 10 years before we got married which led to an awful lot of stubornness on her part since she was used to doing for herself. After a month or so of fueding everytime I would start to work on anything, as she always wanted to put in her two cents worth. I took her by the hand one day and led her to the garage and said this is my domain the house is yours, you do what you want to with it, pretty it up however you want to, but don't tell me how to do anything in the garage, and please don't rearrange it anymore as I can't never find anything afterwards.   I still  have to remind her of that conversation about every 6 months or so. But I now have a lot bigger shop and it is my doghouse, it gets asfully cold in the winter, and very hot in the summer, but it is peaceful, and I think I still rule in it?
