Does anyone know what kind of welding test is given for a structural welder during shutdowns, and new plant construction? I have only worked in shipyards where they give a vertical, horizontal, and overhead on flux core and stick.
Reply:I did some structural work in AL that was inspected by the state. (Gov't job) The contractor over the job had me pass a vertical 1" plate test with 7018.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man...... |
