Hello, I've been hobby welding steel with mig for 5 years or so. I plan on trying out the 3035 spoolgun I have with my millermatic 210. Do you use pieces of scrap aluminum for your runoff/runon plates? Or do you use some other metal with a high melting point that aluminum does not stick to so that you can reuse the place over and over? Or do you just break/cut off the plate and grind down the edge after every weld?
