is it possible? I think it has something to do with switching the polarityI know it's possible with the classic II sa 250 and sa 300
Reply:It's a DC constant-current power source so I don't see any reason why you can't tig with it, except that you'll be scratch starting and the torch will be 'hot' all the time and no foot pedal to control the current. You'll need an air cooled torch with a built in gas valve and seperate power and gas connectors.Connect it straight polarity (torch on the negative terminal) for tig.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
