I just recieved a bunch of gas torches and tips. There is a victor that I believe is oxy/act. Then there are 4 torches with paddles on the handle, but it looks like only one hose connector. I have used an oxy/act. torch only once, so some input is welcomed. Here's some pics:http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/gimpyr...bum?.dir=/2d33
Reply:well all the one's with the paddle's are cutting attachments they screw on the top of the main torch that has the two conectors as u would call it or the welding torch. good luck useing them might wanna polish them up a bit and clean them if they dont feed right but good luck!
Reply:If I have enough cash left over from my income tax return, after paying some bills, I will be heading to the welding supply store! Lets hope I can get some decent gear for them.
Reply:pictures 1033 is a purpose built cutting torch. pictures 1037 has 4 cutting attachments at the top, what appears to be a propane or air-acetelyne torch? and two welding heads on the bottom. It appears you will need a smith torch handle if you don't have one to put all of your ends on. I would bring the heads with you to the welding supply if you don't have a handle and they should be able to fix you up. You will probably want to put new orings and packings in whichever head you decide to use. The person you got them from must have had a cutting head for each size/type tip he commonly used. Swaped heads instead of tips.Good luck |
