auto lid

I can't remember if my old lid darkened when I looked at a light bulb. This new one I got darkens when the sensor sees a light and it's really annoying. I'm sure my old one only darkened while welding or grinding. So is this defective? Can any of you check yours for me?
Reply:you can set the sensitivity on some of them i think

Reply:what kind is it?....i have a few miller's and they work great but the sensitivity on my Elite is pretty high if i set it all the way up...
