on the frame i am planning, is a 2" downtube TOO fat??, i was planning on 1" tube for the rear areasStangnetShop Full Of Stuff. Joey
Reply:viper,If you're going to go to the trouble of building a bike, why wouldn't you use dual downtubes?  You'll get more rigidity and be able to flow those tubes right back to your rear wheel.
Reply:i was thinking about maybe havin the single tube arc down from the headset, then fork out into a dual tube at the first engine mount areaStangnetShop Full Of Stuff. Joey
Reply:decided on 1 3/4" sq. tube now i gotta buy me some expensive steel.....StangnetShop Full Of Stuff. Joey
Reply:i had thought about something unique... Stainless Sq. Tube.. then i thought about the price of it and the price of extra bits&blades to work it.... Steel Supports Me, So I Support Steel.StangnetShop Full Of Stuff. Joey
