Reply:What kind of engines on here???me and my friend did that same thing a couple weeks ago but had bad results because we couldnt think of a way to get it going, we orignally welded a sprocket onto the axel of the card, made an engine mount, had a chain going from the drive sprocket of the engine, to the sprocket on the axel
Reply:The engine is from a pocket bike 49cc 2 stroke.I created a new axle, made a mount for the disc brake and created a axle holder from 1-3/8 id tube. I then used 3/4" bearings from a wheel to hold the axle.Make sure the sproket on the engine is small (20-) and the one on the axle is big(54+).
Reply:thats what we did with the 49cc pocketbike engine.. differnt kettler cart though.. we took off the tire from the axel and welded the sprocket from the pocket bike to the axelill take pictures of it, give me tips on how to get it to run better
Reply:Do you actually get any speed with that little engine? My current mini buggy/kart has a 250cc snowmobile engine on it and I think it's underpowered...

Reply:I'm scared looking at the Psycho Kart! There's some various go kart plans for 3, 4 and 6 wheeled karts at this welding projects website you might want to check out, too. |
