Anyone know a good way to make 35' of pregnant rails for wrought iron railings? I want all of them with the same swoop or arc. What is the best way to set up a jig- any websites? Or can you buy just the curved pieces and make the rest? Thanks for your help. I'm building a house and want to make my own railings.

Reply:That's a great link - I've been trying to find the various ornamentsthat I've seen people using in gates.Does anyone know of a place in Canada to buy these type of items?Specifically in southern Ontario near Hamilton, Toronto, or Niagara? Thanks!
Reply:These guys are in BC- http://www.customironworks.comthey have 10 different kinds of what they call "belly balusters".My guess is there is somebody in Ontario as well- the italians are distributing this stuff all over the place. Ask the guy in BC if he knows of a company near you. |
