I don't know if it's just me, but I can't find a piece of steel/aluminum to tightly fit into a stake pocket on a trailer/truck. Am I stuck with wood?
Reply:You don't want it tight. When trying to line up with multiple stake pockets, tight will give you trouble. My name's not Jim....
Reply:I've got only two.Something not sloppy is what I'm looking for.
Reply:beef up whatever you have thats close with bead or shim plates to match the pocket ..
Reply:Take a piece of channel iron and slit it down the middle in a V then beat the ends together with a BFH and weld up the seam. Cap the top and weld a pipe to it.
