Reply:Sure it floats, it even floats upside down...   This one is set up for running SLS in IMPBA.

Reply:i've been all over the country and have seen different welders at all phases and "degrees" and i would hope you are not all that arrogant to believe ""Hey if you think you are so good"" would show any sort of respect at all !!! although i don't doubt your ability principles and theories and weld trials doesn't mean anything until you are competent in "real" world fab and technical work.i would hope you could show some respect on the board!!!!!  i don't have a spunky username just what it is, me!
Reply:Paul, I have been fabing all of my life. I have all the welding experiance I need. Most likely I have more than you. I have worked in the oilfield, Areospace, and fabshops. The weldtrials are like the olimpics of welding. It is a great achievement to make it that far because that covers two years of competition. So to make it to the top six of 110 competitors is pretty damn good. So do not tell me I do not have real world experiance if I can weld fluently with all welding processes. Whether in competition or production situations.And I was only trying to see the experiance robinhood had.
Reply:this post will probably get pulled but......for being 22 yrs. old  you sure are not of the same mold of most here on the board! i could care less about your welding adventures and welding "olympics" or your knowledge of the art of welding, i just wish you could show some respect to fellow welders!as far as my experience that has NOTHING to do with your arrogance. 1 out 6 or #6 out of 110 is great, but a wiseman said " if 2 welders are sticking plate and both are 100 pen, beautiful bead and cut they're both great.it doesn't get better than that". as far as ROBIN HOOD i doubt you or your classmates will ever be able to duplicate his knowledge of his "THE PROCESS OF WELDING" or as he puts it "stickin' metal.  i don't have a spunky username just what it is, me!

Reply:Yes, its Chase. I did not want to affend enyone but I am a welder always have been always will be I just wanted to see the experiance you have. Paul took it the wrong way. I am good at welding but I know the details. I have to fight hard with welders because they think I am a stupid engineer that knows nothing. But the fact is I can weld just as good as they can. so my question is what do you want me to "Put up or shut up"? and also I did not have to spell in that comp.

Reply:Chase, you have not made to many people Madd or is it mad...  when I was twenty two, I would tell the old guys to get out of the way............all I was trying to do was get home on time so I could see my kids before it was time for them to go to bed. I wish you all the luck in your new field.....but I need some proof of who you are, or who you want to be........got any pictures of some stuff you've done.....
