Reply:Look nice. What are they hauling in them. What process do you use in welding them. Are they new from the ground up or rebuilds.Brett B & B Fabrication and Welding Inc.Spalding, MI.
Reply:I work a dual role with the company my title is service manager in that I repair wrecked trailers (pic 2 and 3) and help out at the Houston factory building new from the ground up trailers for customer fleets (pic1). The end dump type of trailer is mostly used to haul sand, gravel, grain, dirt and just about anything the owners can make it haul. The trailers in the repair pictures have been hauling coal from the mines and flyash a powder like ash by- product from the coal burning process. the repair trailers are mig welded using 2 lb 3/64" wire. profax spool guns with 100' leads. The new trailers are built in components at welding stations then fitted toghether to complete the trailer. the factory welding stations use an assortment on machines and feeders mostly Miller CP 302 with R-115 wirefeeders.Last edited by Robby T.; 07-29-2005 at 05:37 PM. |
