does anybody know where I could get some patterns for plasma cutting, you know the cowboy leaning against the tree kind of stuff. My sister wants me to make some of these for her. Thanks all!!
Reply:For years I used a projector that had a 100 watt light bulb. You can takeany picture that will fit and enlarge it onto the steel then terace with soapstone (for OA torch) or marker (for plasma). Last year I got a large Opaque Projecter from state surplus which is 1000 times clearer and brighter. Great detail !!!
Reply:hey Fear ??there's lots of sites on the net that offer patterns for woodworkers... i.e. cowboy leaning on tree... I think you can even find them at Lowe's and H.D. they are full size and just use those...john
Reply:Feracity,I used woodworking scroll saw patterns and used my copier to enlarge them.
Reply:Yeah im a little slow I never thought of the whole projector idea. That sounds like a good idea, I'll have to go break in to the local kindergarden class to get one though...not really.... I havent seen any at the depot although I rarely venture outside the tool dept... Home Depot here in CHEEEEEKAGO is VERY annoying to go to...Thanks folks
