My wife likes plants and stuff like that, so she asked me one day if I could make up some grape arbors so she could grow some grapes.  This is what I came up with.  They are made from 1-1/4" sq. alum. tubing.  I used some 3/16" dia rods through the middle spaces so the vines could grab something... Reply:Great idea! You just gave me insight on how to have my morning glories go up. I was going to use chicken wire stuff. This looks nicer and will last longer. Thanks.
Reply:Wow,   the termites must be bad there   No really looks goodNickoliIf I can't fix it, Its probably not broke.... Yeah Right!~ Damn I let out the factory installed smoke again ! ~
Reply:Good job on the arbor.   The attached picture is a garden arch my wife requested.   It's made with 1/2" EMT.   I built a basic 3 wheel slip roller to roll the arched sections and the horizontal members were coped using a 3/4" hole saw and then welded in place.  The whole thing is skinned with wire fence to give the plants something to climb. Reply:For my sister's garden we got 1/4" x 5' x 16' galvanized iron cattle panels which are easily cut with bolt cutters. These can be bent easily into A or U shapes to support every thing from tomatoes to melons (suspended in panty hose)
