Reply:Wash it with a muriatic acid bath. Rinse and let it set for a little bit. When it gets the color you want seal it with a clear lacquer.life is good

Reply:I've recently been playing with products from metal finishes plus. Their website is www.metalfinishesplus.com. The copper plating and then overcoating with the Rainbow Tourch is a nice finish -- then protect with plastic enamel. The affect is much like shining it up and then heat treating, but after being copper plated, you can apply the rainbow tourch with a brush or QTip -- you could "paint" in the blues and purples in a patter to put "feathers" on the wing tips.Just my two cents worth.
Reply:Thanks for the tips..Thjey all help..Take Care..BR
