I am planning on building a 12-20 ton hydraulic press. Does anyone have plans or know a good resource for this type of project?

Reply:If have have a Harbor Frieght in your area, just go there and circle around theirs a few times. It's not a bad design at all.
Reply:HF has it on sale right now (almost) cheaper than most can buy the steel. I wouldn't really consider it a real "20 ton" press unless you add some beef in critical areas, and a better jack too, but it's well into 12-20 ton territory IMO. I just bought an air over hydro replacement jack for mine to make things easier...
