Im looking for someplace to get new or recycled steel the place i get my new steel from is closed on the weekends so its hard for me to get out there and most of the other places charge twice as much.Thanks...Joe
Reply:I here ya! I am in Sterling Heights, MI and have the same problem. Let me know if you find anything.Joe
Reply:I thought Metal Mart was close to Sterling Heights/Madison Heights on Dequindre? Maybe they are closed on the weekend.
Reply:METAL MART by far the most expensive place to buy steel. I heard there is a place in Warren somewhere on Hoover Road that has reasonable prices.
Reply:Please post if you find the name of the place in Warren. Warren is closer to my house anyway. I found Metal Mart to be reasonable, but then again, I have only bought scrap sheets from them. I have never put in a "real" order with them to get a feel on price. Good to know though.
Reply:I havent bought any steel yet either, but with my next paycheck I was thinking on buying some steel. I am also from St. Hgts. and am currently looking for a place. I've never really taken hoover past 10 mile, but I believe thats gettin into centerline.Everyday I take hoover to 12 mile to go to class, but Ill take a closer look next time I'm down there.
Reply:call mount clemens metal recycling. they sell by the pound. you can get some great deals on aluminum also. |
