Has anyone moded the punch stripper on their Edwards ironworker? I have a 55 ton machine and hate how long it takea to change out the punch and dies.I think they have a urethane stripper option,but just wondered if anybody came up with something good.
Reply:Post a pic of the set-up. Maybe I can help.I have a 125 ton uni-hydro, and the change-out isn't speedy, but not too bad.We need to protect Freedom of Speech, otherwise, how would we know who the A-holes (like me) are.
Reply:Edwards is cheap for a reason.post a picture, maybe we can make suggestions. My geka has a swing away stripper, with springs holding it in place, swings out in a second with one hand, you still have to use a wrench for the punch and die, but its very quick to change. |
