Hello everybody, Just wanted to say "Hello", and wish me good luck! I just got my certification plate in today and if I pass, I'll be a certified arc welder. I won't know the results until a couple weeks. Now I'll be moving on to my Mig welding cert.Wish me luck!

Reply:All the best on your certification plate.Out here in Oz we have to serve an apprenticeship normally four years, We work closely with tradesman and also go to Technical collage (Tech) where we learn the theory side of our trade. Reply:We work with an instructor Mon-Fri. We have to pass a certain exam. If he thinks we are ready, we start working on our cert plate. It's a school that you have to attend for a year or so. Depending on how fast you learn. I'm working on my certification for Arc, Mig, Tig and Pipe.
