overseas welding job

im spreading my welding job search global ay of you guys do  if so how do i get resume to a place that hires people for this im really new at this so i dont know much about it but i do know that i have a few years welding and fabricating and 20+ years turning wrenches and a vetran too boot so theres gota be a job that fits my skills  ive been to few sites and e mailed a resume but if any has some more info and would be willin to share im all earsmiller maxstar 150   hobart handler 210 w mig conversion hobart 250 arc force plasma cutter    boston ind cutting torch miller performance auto darkening helmet milwalkee 14in chop saw 10,000 watt generator huge drill press and industrial band saw

Reply:Look into the current contract companies that are providing support if your wanting work in the middle east.  This work tends to be tax free and either a 6 month or one year contract and generally very lucrative.  If your wanting something that is less dangerous and gets you state side often then look into one of the shipyards that does repairs on navy and merchant ships such as Northrup Grumman.  Another option would be a company that has locations world wide such as debeers mining operations where you could find yourself working on mining equipment in the heart of Africa or north of the arctic circle.  Another would be Liebherr corporation at any of one of 35 facilities world wide. Most of these I've found out about since starting school a few months back, another that I don't know much about but my instructor was called to do a week long stint was building structures for a church mission in central America using steel instead of wood due to the scarcity of tree's, pay was tax free and $7k for a week.

MOST LIKELY ITALY, GERMANY OR SWEDEN, DONT FORGET JAPAN.I DONT MEAN TO BE CRITICAL, RIGHT NOW AS I SPEAK AVONDALE IN BRIDGE CITY, LOUISIANA IS HIRING FOR NEW NAVY CONSTRUCTION THEY ALWAYS ARE. YOU HAVE TO GO THRU COMPANIES, LIKE AMERIFORCE ETC, BE APPROVED GO THERE PASS THE TEST, FIND A HOTEL AFTER 2 WEEKS, ETC, ALSO PASACAGOULA, MS. ARE HIRING FOR THE NAVY ALSO.SAN DIEGO HAS QUITE A FEW MARINE SHIPYARDS WHO ARE HIRING NOW. I HOPE THAT HELPS.
