I just recently picked up a cheap portable welding outfit made by Uniweld with type B bottles. It has a Uniweld welding torch model 71 handle but I would like to get a cutting attachment. I dont know how to post a picture here but the setup is real miniature compared to a set that you would normally see in a shop. None of my attachments from my regular torch fit this thing because of its size. I like it because it is easier to bring with me to small jobs. Any suggestions??Also I will ask if anyone can reccomend a place on the internet to view a video showing how to weld with sticks. This set-up came* with a bunch of long flat sticks, I did some stick welding in high school 30 years ago but those were round sticks. Might these flast sticks be the same thing? I learn best by watching someone else do something so any suggestions on a good learning video would be appreciated. Thanks
Reply:Hi jhason2. I have a torch set-up too, with Uniweld regulators on them. I took mine to a welding supply place and they fitted up adapters to fit the standard hose attachments. And for the bottle size, depends on how much you intend on using the torch. Bigger bottles? I have a microtorch and plan on getting adapters for hooking up to my oxygen and propane bottles.
