A guy came to me and wanted me to make some type of system to hold as many full size goose decoys as would fit in his trailer.  The heads of the decoys couldn't touch anything and they had to be easy to remove and replace in the trailer.  I thought about it quite a while and this is what I came up with.  All of the bars come out without any pins and they won't bounce out on bumpy roads. Reply:Great solution and a very nice job!   The only thing I can think of to improve on the idea would be to put the tubes front to back so that he can remove all the decoys without removing any bars.

Reply:So, if he's going down the road and all the geese are in flight, not touching the inside of the trailer, do they have weight?
Reply:Have to be able to remove the bars.  The section holding the decoys is a little over 10 ft long.  If you couldn't remove the bars, it would be just about impossible to reach the decoys.
Reply:I have a question. Are the decoy's heads fragile or something? I've never looked at a goose decoy I guess, why can't their heads touch anything? I remember my dad was into duck hunting when I was a kid, but all his decoys were rubber and nearly indestructible.
Reply:When the geese are flying, they fly in a V, and one leg of the V is always longer than the other.....Know why?????There's more geese on that side..........I r 2 a perfessional
Reply:?? OK  kbnit  why is it shorter??    LOL

Reply:The heads are covered with some type of black spray on fuzzy stuff that won't reflect light.  It will rub off and I guess it's expensive to re-coat them.
