Video of T-Joint Weld with Oxy-Acetylene?

Does anyone know of a video of someone doing a T Joint with oxyacetylene. If not, could someone make one and post it on youtube so I can see it. Reply:I think you need to be a little more specific in your request.  like a t joint in what type material.  round tube, square tube?  thick wall, thin wall?  aircraft, motorcycle dune buggy ?????
Reply:I Just want to add that you may have better luck finding this info on homebuilt aircraft sites.  oxy acetlyne is still the FAA approved and accepted method for welding thin wall tubing members.  the FAA is pretty slow to change

Reply:It IS easy. Did my first T joint oxyacetylene today in ten years. First time using a torch at all in ten years, actually. Turned my first run in and it was put on display as the class example.Will I make a video? Let me think about this... No. Why? Because all anyone wants to hear is "I did it just like so-and-so did it and couldn't duplicate the results."Practice. Get what you feel is a good sample and have someone with alot more experience critique it. Then practice alot more until a group on senior weldors (bad phrase, guys, I appologize) agree that you MIGHT be getting it figured out. Then do it some more.No video on YouTube is going to help you learn to weld better. And quite frankly your request for such is insulting. I don't have near the experience most of these guys have. Can I weld? I guess. What would the people I work for say? I won't even begin to assume another person's opinion. My welds hold. I am by far not the best weldor in the world. How do I know when I am improving? I've added another thousand hours of arc time.The key here is practice. You can't cheat your way through welding.
Reply:Wow. Amazing what people get riled about. I dont see anything wrong with picking up some tips from a video. Learning takes many forms. Books, videos, and personal instruction are all learning methods. I find those that fold their arms and get all offended by a learning method to be strange. Actually I find it arrogant and elitist. Oh christ why am I wasting my time. To the good people on this forum, I wish you well. To the rest of you spending time stroking your own egos in public, try not to get anything on the keyboard. Reply:Hi kraythe. Been looking on the web for what you were wanting and they do have videos on O/A welding but they were the kind you have to buy. I haven't found any yet on youtube or such. If you would like, I can give you the sites web addresses.There is a site you can rent a video, but I will have to find it. You can do it! That is the T joint weld and any other weld.
