Got to the shop around 6...had 4 stainless double head heads to shrink together and weld up..going in some 14" stainless tubes about 14 feet long..will be water cooled and chrome plated when done..these are the outside heads shrunk on the journals..  -.004 on the heads(you have to make sure the npt. holes face out..) (i've also seen them done backwards  )after they cool down enough to stick good..its fuse it time..(both sides)after that its 1 root pass and then the stitch weld treatment..these will never leak..no f'n way  i only had time this morning to do one head as far as the finish welding has to do..(outside only i still have to finish weld the backside..)  monday i have to finish the outside heads and then install the inner heads..those are pretty funky the way the cooling slots are in them...i'll follow up with the project monday..(now for #2 sat a.m. job post)...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Zap,nice welds.  Noticed it looks like you welded around in sections.  I assume you don't have a turn-table?
