So I know alot of guys have been making pressure pot sand blasters out of the standard size(20lbs?) propane tanks. I have a pressure pot kit that is smaller that that. An air compressor tank was just donated to me that is three times the size of a standard lp tank. I am thinking of grafting the fill bung and support legs onto this donated tank for more capacity and less down time. I hate to waste a good air tank for this, but I'd like more "up" time. Is there any reason I shouldn't attempt? I am confident in my welding skills to not compromise the integrity of the tank. Am I over looking anything?
