im the one who asked about the fitter apprenticeship..Hey again..maybe i could start somewhere else? i need a job immediately.and i need out this city! ill do whatever! wherever! the more danger the better. i have transportation. and funds to last me a bit..i understand theres ppl hurting everywhere,but damnit im dependable,ill work my *** off,and i need a job! if anyone can help Thanks in advance.

Reply:like i say i have done landscaping,framing (construction),pest control,electrician wrk(prewires and such),mechanic,retail, no one is hiring around here..mcdonald's said i was over qualified..ive been getting by on side jobs but theyre running out.i thought about taking off to alaska and trying the crab fishing..i need a fresh start. i dont know what im asking.. nevermind i guess..
Reply:Crab fishing is vastly overated by the television.  It is not a last ditch attempt at finding employment.  If they don't hire you consider freezing on the docks as an alternative.  There ain't no bridges to sleep under up here!
Reply:yea t.v. killed it..my uncle fished the bering sea years ago..he's passed now(cancer) but im a hardworker,i wouldve worked the canneries until i could meet some people..never slept under a bridge..not outside even..maybe camping..i wouldve got a roundtrip ticket and if i got employed i wouldve took a loss on the rest or either got a ticket with a open return..or just buy a ticket home if it didnt work out..people arent reliable these days..thats a good quality i have..i never miss work..
Reply:Sorry to hear about you and I wish I could help. I am lucky in that I am a programmer and that allows me to work anywhere and we are always in demand. Too bad that 'hope and change' crap was just ... well ... crap. When it is cheaper for american companies to ship all their parts and materials overseas, build there and ship all the product back than pay taxes here, we have a problem. Cut the tax rate to 10% flat and there would be more jobs here than people know what to do with. That would be a 19% cost reduction to companies over the BS they get charged now.
