hitch step

The plant manager wanted a step to put in his receiver hitch for his new dodge truck.  He just wanted a piece of tread plate broke out and a piece of 2" tube welded to it. .  I didn't do that, he liked my idea better after he saw it.  I like SS.DewayneDixieland WeldingMM350PLincoln 100Some torchesOther misc. tools

Reply:That's a sweet step and I think you did a great job. I use the standard flat cover plate though so I don't bang the shin, and I have a shell so no need for a step.  I would say you could charge at least $100 to $149.  The covers are about $40 for a nice one.Hobart 140 Handler w/ gasHyperTherm Powermax 380 Plasmaoxy/acetylene
