Ok so here ar pics of my rear strut/cross brace for my 1992 Toyota MR2 Turbo,  and a picture of the rear lower subframe braces.  future projects include.... Roll bar, front strut brace out of round stock, front lower subframe brace, sawybar endlinks (beefier), and I am sure much more to come after that.in the raw

Reply:Good job on the rod that holds the hood open, it looks just like a screw driver.Nice job.  Drove a MR2 once, that is a fun, fun, fun car.
Reply:The cross brace works better than the one that TRD (toyota racing developement) makes.  and I am the only person that makes a more stout lower subframe brace. Yeah my prop rod is disable since I took the rain gaurd off of the Engine lid.. I love my car.  The MKII mr2's are a full time hobby, reliable but fun to work on.  and really fast when you turn the boost up.  At 17 lbs of boost with exhaust and intake I can beat pretty much any stock or lightly modified car you throw at me.  Vettes, Lotus elise, RX7, Supra Turbo, etc.  and of course only on the race track
Reply:Nice MR. Two! I'm in the process of making a beefier strut brace for my AllTrac right now. Ur engine sits a lot lower in the frame than the Tracs does, so It looks to be pretty simple for you guys. Looks good thou!
Reply:The alltrac is an awesome car too,  we shar the same blood lines!  What I would do with a strut brace on the AT is make brackets that drop the bar back and down a bit and the make a bracket the have two bars going to the firewall.
