would you buy these?

I was planning to make a HD work table someday.... but  I found these locally...  not sure what 1" plate goes for these days.... but I think this would be worth the money... ?probably cheaper than making one... Residual to my late dads business. Great for a heavy shop or welding etc it measures 57 x 30 x 34 with adjustable leg pads. The top is 1 inch steel. Some tapped holes in it. I'd guess it weighs over 500 lbs I have a shorter one also which is shown in the bottom pics. That one is 48 X 38. That one has some light rust that will sand out easy . Reply:I purchased a home made welding table from Craigslist.  It's heavy, very crudely made.  Cost me $60, but it had a 3/4" thick 2x3' top on it.  I'm making a new subframe for it right now, using the old table to work on.  The subframe will have wheels, and storage for grinder, vise, a pull out drawer for files and room for my welder.  Use a craigslist table for awhile, then figure out what features you need on your next table.  --zip
Reply:Yep.  I'm not sure what prices currently are, but I paid $300 for a 30"x60"x1" piece a few months back.  It weighed a little over 500 pounds, and was a pain in the neck to move around.I think those are a great deal.Jack OlsenMy garage website
Reply:I just got back from looking at the tables.The price was for each table.  Still a great deal in my opinion.. the pictures don't do justice. these are VERY heavy duty tables. the legs look to be around 1/4" steel. very well made.I put deposit on the large table in the picture. I will pick it up wednesday with my car trailer and winch. He has 3 tables left. the smaller one in the picture, another smaller table with wheels Barely visible in the bottom left picture.  and a very large table...
