Hello, anyone know the actual amperage/votage settings each step is at. Say Like 30/60/90 ect??
Reply:You will need to hook up an Amp Meter and a Multi meter but really no need for this class machine.Just set it to the suggested settings on the door chart an adjust as needed.Ed Conleyhttp://www.screamingbroccoli.com/MM252MM211 (Sold)Passport Plus & Spool gunLincoln SP135 Plus- (Gone to a good home)Klutch 120v Plasma cutterSO 2020 benderBeer in the fridge
Reply:You could measure the voltage at each tap position; however that would not be very accurate because the voltage will change from no-load to welding load. As for the current, that will depend on the set voltage and the wire feed speed/wire diameter. Have a good helping of Broccoli instead.
Reply:I am just curious what the amps/volts are at each step. I have owned other small Lincolns for .060 steel welding, thats what i learned on .060, after that everything else was a breeze. I have a 255xl for the thicker stuff, the 175 is a nice machine. |
