I know I've read this in here before, but I can't find any references to it now. Does someone make files that can be used in reciprocating saws? I'm trying to make some receivers for my welding table and need to file the inside seam smooth so that the implements will fit snugly.
Reply:bevel a chisel on one side and you can peel that sucker right off.
Reply:or take a grinder and grind a clearance groove in the male part...been there done that.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Buy what is called D.O.M. tubing or seamless tubing..... you can also go a to local welding shop that sells hitches or trailer supplies and buy a reciever tube (they come in various lengths 8, 10, 15 inch) and cut it into smaller pieces. They have a 2"x2" opening.... but the D.O.M. tube you can get in many sizes_________________Chris |
