Havn't done any of these in awhile...but there was not alot of room between the drain hole and the tube..maybe 3/16"..when things are that close you just fuse it and do the root pass near the hole only..finish stitch pass..you stitch up to 1/4" away from the drain hole..and pick it back up 1/4" after..so if you find yourself in that situation now you know what to do.. I get all the fun jobs......zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Hey Zap..... Does this job specify TIG as the welding process? If not then why would you choose TIG over another process? I'm not knocking it , I'm just curious...._________________Chris
Reply:no it did'nt specify tig..but with only 3/16" between the drum and the hole.....that was our best bet for watertight construction..thats my story and i'm sticking to it!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
