My old cnc projects

I know these are not exactly welding projects, but they were projects none the less. These emblems were all done on my small desktop cnc machine for people on a mustang forum. I polished all of these emblems by hand with a lot of elbow grease. These were all done a while ago and I have since pretty much worn out my machine, so I haven't played around too much with it lately. I hope you enjoy....  I made this for a jeweler friend of mine. Reply:Here  are some more things I did just screwing around trying to learn how to machine aluminum. The first one is a wheel I made just for fun using my 40's era Hardinge lathe and the cnc machine. The second peice is a diffuser for a mini gas turbine that will take me 100's of years to make at my current pace.

Reply:Doolittle and G33k, the cnc machine has finally worn the plastic acme leadscrew nuts. It still cuts, but its just not accurate anymore. I plan on fabbing up a set of antibacklash nuts soon. I have cut ALOT of aluminum on this machine that was primarily designed for prototyping wax. The machine is an older minitech cnc mill.  Here's a little better pic of the mill at work. The end mill size is 3/16 for size comparison. I plan to someday get a full sized machine as soon as I am done with my hotrod projects.
