Tri-axle trailer

This is the trailer I built a couple years ago.18`deck,3`beavertail,8`6"wide.bulldog jack 10,000lb lift 12,000lb hold.HF 8,000lb winch on homemade reciever mount.all L.E.D lighting, truck bed also.main frame is10" heavy channel.deck frame is 5" channel w/3" channel crossbeams.It was originally going to be a gooseneck, but my house furnace decided to puke when it was almost finished.I will convert/finish it one of these days!!! It was all welded with my trusty Lincoln AC buzzbox. The truck is always an ongoing project.custom flatbed,soon to be converted to hydraulic dump.On board air compressor,100amp ford alternator stick welder,custom plow mount/bumper with 8 1/12` foot modified western plow. (not in pic)

Oh...and you can stay grumpy..we dont care.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:We think alike !  I keep wrestling whether to build a dump bed for my truck or a dump trailer. I have the scissors built with twin 4" cylinders. I bought all the metal for a 6' X 8' flat bed last year when I had an old Ford 3/4 ton, but I have since bought a late model Powerstroke, and don't really want to take the bed off, plus I'm not sure how I could have the bed dump and have a gooseneck hitch both... Any body know a way ?  I stole a gooseneck high deck trailer last spring, but it's a little big to make a dump trailer. If I spent as much time finishing projects as I do trying to figure out what I want I would have it made !Not a beginner, not a pro !
Reply:I personaly like trailers that dump verses a 3/4 ton truck. My nieghbor had a dodge 3/4 ton two wheel drive with overloads and it couldn't haul the load with out getting squirly and sagged alot so we took the same bed off and mounted on my gooseneck trailer I made and we were in buissiness.
Reply:The only thing I don't like about it is the house trailer axles, and I'd made the ramps fold flat on the trailer.  But hey, that's just me.  There are definitatly benefits of them not folding flat.  And as far the axles, if that's what you have on hand....  I'm not trying to bust on your trailer, I think it looks great.DewayneDixieland WeldingMM350PLincoln 100Some torchesOther misc. tools
