Reply:tools of choice for removal are plasma cutter and 5" grinder with ally cutting blade after cutting most of the front of its time to remove the weld from the sides as you can see the factory welds arn't any thing to write home about after a bit of grinding its time to take it out side and lift of the sides and this is were its at now till i get some parts and come back from holidays Creative metal Creative metal Facebook

Reply:Nice job to be involved in. I like the saw from he!!.... I'll bet the guard is a must with that. Is that the original dog house or did you fab a new one? In the pic of the nose it looks like the dog house got wailed as well.Last edited by lorenzo; 02-07-2007 at 04:04 PM._________________Chris
Reply:Nice stuff!Man!!Tipping that over was a blessing in disguise..Those "factory" welds suck!! It will be way better when you get done with it..Carry on!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Hmmm, those original welds did look pretty sloppy but I guess they were 'good enough' becuase they were still together after the roll-over.Note:  I really-really-really don't believe in 'good enough'.  I try for making it "Good or better-than-good", not 'good enough'.  And usually toss in a good helping of Overkill as well. But I think you could have gotten a good body man with hammer and dolly to straighten out that body without having to replace it.
Reply:Maybe the stock welds were Mig welds, it looks like a fast run was made there...
