miller bobcat ?

i just got a phone call at noon and a guy called and was wondering if i was intrested in a few welders he has 2 are miller bobcats 1 looks like it has about 2300 hrs on it and the other who knows both machines look like they could use sum tlc but i will see if i can get pics up  the guys wants 600.00 a piece for them  its alot of money  any thoughts ?? how are parts to get for these machines??miller maxstar 150   hobart handler 210 w mig conversion hobart 250 arc force plasma cutter    boston ind cutting torch miller performance auto darkening helmet milwalkee 14in chop saw 10,000 watt generator huge drill press and industrial band saw
Reply:I would buy them for that price. My bobcat has 9XX on it with no problem outside of PM so I dont know about parts. Ive seen on this forum that Onan motor parts are starting to get hard to find.
Reply:If they run and weld that's a screaming deal. Reply:Hell you can still get parts for a 1970s era AEAD 200LE! I'm sure parts for a Bobcat would be no prob. That is a great deal if they are working or even close to working.Wanna bring one to my house?

I would buy them both, no question.Then I would cleanup, fixup, spit and polish both.Then I would sell one, getting at least $1500, and end up with one for next to nothing.Lucky stuff like this never happens to me though, so it's all relative.But that is what I would do.If'n I was that lucky.-az-
