This is an old beast but you can't kill it and belive me i tried  the boss said he'll buy a new one when this one is beyond fixing. But i must admit it's great for arc air!Last edited by steve28; 05-16-2007 at 11:40 AM.

Reply:i got  one  about  the  same..  got her at the auction..i have  had "her" for  about  2  years  now...for  arc air  or  heavy welding ...she  never  sputters...she leans into what ever is  asked of  her i will try and  get a pic this weekend (shop is  10 miles  from house)

Reply:Company I used to work for 35 years ago had 3 of those. Really great machines. One of them you had to smack the end where the exciter brushes are to get it to light up, but otherwise they are good machines. Ours had 2 dials, tho, as well as the polarity switch like yours. Ours all had wheels on them.

Reply:i know  for  sure  this one is at least 400 amps..i will check for  sure  next time i'm there....this  baby  runs on three phase...you need  ear plugs..lolwhen air arcing you can still hear the  machine
