My wife has started learning wood and brought herself a small wood lathe scroll saw and belt sander so I had to make a stand up for the lathe thats was ok but what happened next wasn't she has not got room in here section of the shed yet its full of stuff for the house as were remodeling of she put all her wood stuff in my part and you should see the mess should of clicked when she offer to help clean the shed Creative metal Creative metal Facebook
Reply:Looks like you've got lots of helpers in your shop. Do they fetch tools?I once had a retriever that could climb a ladder with a hammer in his mouth when I was working on the roof.
Reply:sounds like its time to get the remodeling finished up fast. that or she needs to hold off on starting the wood working. too many projects leads to none getting finished, been there still doing that.i'm looking to add a wood lath to my shop soon, great fun.i supose you could move your welders into the living room, think she would get the point or you would get the dog house.the shop is going to get cramped prity quick. good luck. i supose i dont have to warn about mixing wood and welding sparks. summer is here, plant a tree for mother earth. if you dont have time or space, sponcer some one else to plant one for you.feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail me at [email][email protected] i got lots of time.

Reply:I think it is very cool that you have a wife that loves to do work like that and will help when needed. Must be nice to work along side each other. Thats my idea of quality time not sitting in front of the tv watching some chick flick like my wife wants.Miller DVI2Lincoln Precision Tig 225Thermodynamics Cutmaster 38Everything else needed.

Reply:I think the best solution here would be to build another shed. Either that or section it off. You could do it under the pretense of safety... wouldn't want that sawdust to catch fire. Carefull diplomacy can work.My ex-wife used to store utter junk in the garage, stuff that would never again be used but she wouldn't part with. When I would bring it up, she would scream "Half of that garage is mine". I replied half of the kitchen was mine, so I should be able to setup and use machines in there. She didn't see any humor in that Ultimately she won, she's in the house and has the whole garage to herself now. Piled all the way to the ceiling, can't even set foot in there. Oh well, I guess sanity has it's price.
Reply:yep i like that its just not safe to have wood and steel in the same shop, she will just have to wait till the remod is finished and she can move into the back sectioned off part thats suposed to be hers. a good day of grinding to cover over her shiny new wood tools shold help convince her to hold off.....or she will just throw you out all togather and take over the hole thing. then you get your new shop. summer is here, plant a tree for mother earth. if you dont have time or space, sponcer some one else to plant one for you.feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail me at [email][email protected] i got lots of time.
Reply:DirtyLittleSecret Darwin is 3,643 km's from wellington sawdust is not a prob she cleans it up straight away and blows out the shed with air so things are good that way this were she will be working soon once all the work is done spa is getting moved closer to the house she get's the area with the pretty pics on the wall Creative metal Creative metal Facebook
Reply:thats great, realy cool you 2 can share the shop and both get out of the house togather. all kidding aside i think its prity cool setup ya got going and sharing for a lil bit wont hurt ya that bad.the 2 of you should be able to build just about any thing now. a full service shop. summer is here, plant a tree for mother earth. if you dont have time or space, sponcer some one else to plant one for you.feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail me at [email][email protected] i got lots of time.
