I have a sa 200 but as you know its dc only i have grinders i would like to use on it thats ac, i would like to know what i can do to make them work on this machine

Reply:No; The welding current is DC only. The accessory outlets are A/C as far as I know.
Reply:the sa 200 plug outlet is d.c. current, that is what he is asking about! anyways anything with brushes and is lower amprage will work i think it is 8 amps or soo dont quote me on that exact number i run grinders and drills etc on mine all the time, also my sa200 has a pin that i have to put in to keep the idler reved up

Reply:what about buying a big power inverter and hook on the  machine
Reply:there is a way to do it if you have the right alternator
Reply:You can use a grinder as long as it doesn't have a variable speed switch on it, if it does it will fry the switch.I always tried to work with the oldest hand on the job to gain knowlege but now I can't find any.
