Just purchased a powermig 255. Comes with a full 280cf tank. Whats the dimensions of the tank??
Reply:This was a tough one and had to confim with my wife and daughter and the answer is? Measure the darn thing. The cuft. of the tank is determined by what pressure the supplier will fill the tank to and what pressure the tank is designed to hold.
Reply:Should be about 9" diameter and about 5' tall.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:Gotta go with DesertRider33 here, likely a "T" size. I think the "K" with 50ar/50Co2 can get close and are a bit smaller in dimension (not much).Matt
Reply:Really going to be hard fabricating anything without a tape/ruler in the shop.I don't understand this poster at all.On 5/5/10 he bought a MM251 (per his posting)On 5/8/10 he bought a Powermig255 (per his posting)Maybe on 5/10/10 he should buy a tape measure (per my suggestion)A simple google search will give him all the bottle dimensions he needs. Reply:Originally Posted by illenemaI guess its tough to figure out but I bought both machines. 251 and 255. I also have a 280 cf bottle that goes with one of them and needed to know what the dimensions are, if I can shove it into a compact car to pick it up, answer is yes. I will post pictures of my machines if your interestedIm going to choose my favorite machine and sell the other one.
