Hi Everyone,I just finished the new trailer base for the first of three SA-200s I am rebuilding. I used 2"x3" rectangular tube, some 2" angle, and some deck plate I had left over from another job. The axel is a shortened 3,500 lb. with 5 lug spindles. The springs are rated for 2,000lb. which should give the machine a nice ride. Since I am going to sell the machine I decided to go deluxe and put LED tail lioghts on it. The wheels I lucked out on by getting bothe of them for a total of twenty bucks. The tires are newe Mastercraft Radials which are made in the USA. Reply:i just bought a used bobcat and I've been sketching trailers for about a week. Yours looks perfect. I have an axle i intended to use but I didn't consider shortening it til I saw your rig. BTW, how do you intend to attach the welder to the trailer? beautiful job, by the way.
