Hardfacing electrodes

Any suggestions on what electrode to use for hardfacing excavator buckets with a DC stick machine?
Reply:stoody rod, I use 31 or 35thermal arc mst400, va4000 feeder, lincoln 175 min, victor torches, miller s32p feeder, air arc k4000 for work.

Reply:Tried Stoody 31. It burns amazingly smooth! And slug peels on its own.
