storage racks for drill stem

I'd like to weld some racks for storing 2-3/8" and 2-7/8" drill stem. They're usuallly 30 to 32 feet in length and I hate to leave them sitting on the ground. I thought about getting some pieces of I-beam and welding some vertical pieces on each end to keep the pipe from rolling off. I searched the forum but didn't get any hits. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
Reply:Mvintx,I would make some heavy sawhorses, with short removable stop at both ends of the top cross piece of the sawhorse to keep the pipe from rolling off.  Look at the way drilling companies store their pipe, same as described above.LarryTry not use $10.00 worth of time on $.10 job!!Miller Bobcat
