Pics 6 and 8 from the top show that the milled areas are not lined up on both sides. Perhaps I am looking at the wrong thing but its starting to bug me now. Can you clear up what I am supposed to look for Zap or lorenzo?

Reply:Sorry to beat the bush any longer but for my own personal knowledge; in pic 8 the frontmost bushing has its threaded keyway at around the 6 o' clock position while the rearmost bushing has its keyway at around 4 o'clock. Are you saying that a single threaded key passes through both of these bushings and they are lined up? The same can be said for pic 6. The front bushing "seems" to be at 12 o' clock and the rear at 10. I've seen the common notched keyways but this is my first time seeing a threaded one. Sorry for the hijack, just trying to add something new to my mental database.
Reply:If you put the bushings into the weld in bushings (its a 2 piece set for each end) you'd see that the keyways are lined up on each end with each other..Thats where your "missing the boat" as to say.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Ok when I get home I'll post pics of what these look like without being installed and you'll see why they look like they are not in line when they really are..I found some new ones in the shop.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home. |
