Hi I'm very much a newbie to stick welding and have started some home projects of welding up some pot belly stoves for practice and fun, i'm just in the middle of doing it now and after inspecting my last two welds which are straight beads about 50cm in legnth they don't seem too bad apart from a bit inconsistent over the legnth, for example where i've lost my arc and got it back here and there I have a little gap in the bead, i know with a bit of practice I should be able to maintain the arc but in the mean time can I weld over the inconsitent patches to finnish my project rather than having to grind off the whole legnth and starting again? Thanks.
