Reply:If it's not home-made and it has something to do with welding, there should be an info tag somewhere on it that states it's input and output power specs, duty cycle, frequency, voltage type, etc. That info may help us help you figure out what it is. A pic of the inside with the cover off would help as well.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op

Reply:It's pretty much a classic arc stabilizer.
Reply:That looks like a Craftsman high frequency unit. I used to have one...You can hook that unit up to your AC buzz box and tig weld aluminum....Millermatic 251Powermax45Wellsaw BandsawKalamazoo SanderA bunch of Grinders
Reply:how do i go about hooking it up to my buzz boxjust learning
Reply:I can't see all of the wires, but it looks like the welder power to the torch goes in the bottom connector, and the torch hooks to the top connector. The free wire with the loop connector would go to the work/ground lead.If you could tell me what wires hook to the bottom lug, I would be more sure.
Reply:i dont know what is to be there the lug just comes off of the bottom of the coiljust learning
Reply:There should be wires that go from one of the lugs to the capacitor (silver oval thing) in the back. |
