I have a newer syncrowave 200 with a 14 pin remote connector. I just bought a foot control today and when I go to hook it up its the same connector, but only has 5 pins. I checked the model and it says RFCS-14 which I thought was what I needed, but it started raining and I couldnt try it out (my garage is too cluttered atm to weld inside). I thought the older miller pedals were 5 pin and the newer were 14. Is this the right remote? will it work?

Reply:Fuer..You have the right foot pedal.Just because the connector has provision for 14 pins does not mean that they all have to be used. In fact, I can't think of an application where all 14 pins are active.Plug her in and tig away.Syncro 250 DX Dynasty 200 DXMM 251 w/30A SG XMT 304 w/714 Feeder & Optima PulserHH187Dialarc 250 AC/DCHypertherm PM 1250Smith, Harris, Victor O/ASmith and Thermco Gas MixersAccess to a full fab shop with CNC Plasma, Water Jet, etc.

Reply:Yep, 5 out of 14 pins is all that's needed. 3 for the potentiometer and 2 for the contactor switch.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op |
